Like a tiny solar system, a sun sits at the center of this cosmic pendant. The sun has a reflective domed surface and rays like inverted flower petals emanate from its center.

Surrounding the sun is a wheel divided into 12 segments, each depicting one of the Greek zodiac symbols. A second larger wheel surrounds the first, this one showing the 12 zodiac signs: Crab, scorpion, scales, fish, etc.

The signs and symbols are all raised above a recessed background that has been oxidized to a darker color, making their polished surfaces stand out, along with a border that frames each wheel.
